SA1 is the first big exam of Class 10 in Andhra Pradesh schools, and for most students it is also the first time they sit a paper that looks exactly like the SSC public exam. Same sections, same number of questions, same 3 hours 15 minutes. That is why a good set of Andhra 10th SA1 model question papers is worth more than another round of reading the guide.
We have prepared two full model papers for every Class 10 subject, along with separate answer keys for each paper. They follow the latest BSEAP SSC pattern and stick to the SA1 portion of the current textbooks. Download links are in the table below. Please note: these are model papers written by our team for practice. They are not the official SA1 papers and not “leaked” papers. The actual SA1 paper is set by SCERT and will be different, but the pattern will be the same.
AP 10th SA1 Model Question Papers 2026-27: Download All Subjects
There are two separate model papers for every subject, Set 1 and Set 2, each with its own answer key. Write Set 1 first, check it with Answer Key Set 1, and then move on to Set 2.

When is the AP SA1 Exam for Class 10?
SCERT has not announced the SA1 2026-27 timetable yet. Last year SA1 was held from 10 to 19 November 2025, so this year’s exam is also expected in November. Your school will share the exact dates once the department releases the schedule. We will update this page when it comes.
That leaves a few weeks. Enough time to write both model papers in each subject under exam conditions, if you start now.
AP 10th SA1 Syllabus 2026-27 (Subject-wise)
The papers cover the lessons that were part of the SA1 portion last year. If your school’s circular lists a different portion, follow the circular.

SA1 Question Paper Pattern for Class 10
SA1 follows the SSC public exam pattern, so the model papers do too. Here is what each paper looks like.

One change Telugu students should notice: the paper now starts with a ప్రతిపదార్థం question for 8 marks. Both our Telugu model papers include it, so you can practise it before the exam.
What is in the Answer Keys
We did not want to give just a list of options. A key is only useful if you can check your own answer against it and see where the marks went.
- Maths and Physical Science: every problem is worked out step by step, with the marks for each step shown. All the numbers were checked twice.
- Biology and Social: value points for every 4-mark and 8-mark answer, lab activity steps, and location hints for the map questions.
- English: answers for every grammar item, plus the points a full answer should cover in conversation, diary, letter and speech questions.
- Telugu and Hindi: ప్రతిపదార్థం with bhavam, gana vibhajana, alankaram with lakshanam, and value points for long answers, letters and essays.
Teachers can use the keys for valuation too. Each one has a short note on how to award step marks.
How to Use These Andhra 10th SA1 Model Papers (Without Wasting Them)
Most students open a model paper, read the questions, look at the key and feel prepared. That does almost nothing. Try it this way instead.
- Finish the lessons first. Keep the model papers for the last two or three weeks before SA1.
- Write Model Paper 1 in one sitting. Set a timer for the full duration. No textbook, no phone.
- Correct it yourself with Answer Key Set 1. Be strict. If the key gives 2 marks for a step you skipped, cut those 2 marks.
- Make a small list of what went wrong. Usually it is the same three or four things: a formula, a diagram, a grammar item, map pointing.
- Fix only those topics, then write Model Paper 2 a few days later and check with Answer Key Set 2.
A few things that cost marks every year in SA1:
- Section IV in Maths and Science has an internal choice. Read both options before you start. Many students pick the first one by habit.
- In English, answer all the Section B questions together, in order, as the paper instructs. Valuers do notice.
- In Social, the India map and the World map in Q33 are both compulsory. Each has its own choice.
- Diagrams in Science carry marks for labels. A neat diagram without labels gets only half.

Once you have finished both model papers, the old SA1 papers are good extra practice. Keep in mind that papers before 2025 were set on the older textbooks, so some lessons will not match.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these the real AP SA1 question papers for 2026?
No. These are model papers prepared on the SSC pattern for practice. The real SA1 papers are prepared by SCERT and reach schools only on the exam day.
Do the papers come with answers?
Yes. Every paper has its own answer key. Answer Key Set 1 is for Model Paper Set 1 and Answer Key Set 2 is for Model Paper Set 2.
Is SA1 pattern the same as the 10th public exam?
The SA1 paper for Class 10 is set on the lines of the SSC public exam: same sections, same types of questions, same time. Only the syllabus is limited to the SA1 lessons. That is why these model papers use the public exam blueprint.
Are Telugu medium papers available?
The Telugu and Hindi papers are in their own languages. Maths, Science and Social are in English medium for now. If enough students ask in the comments, we will add Telugu medium versions.
Can teachers print these papers for class tests?
Yes. Teachers are welcome to print them for their own students, for slip tests, pre-SA1 tests or revision. The Word files can be edited if you want to change a question.
