SSLC Focus Area 2022

For the academic year 2021-22 The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Kerala selected some focus areas and important chapters in all subjects to facilitate the learning process. Students need to take special attention to the given focus areas as most of the questions will be based on the areas mentioned. This can be marked as the very important topics for the preparation of SSLC exam March 2022. The classroom sessions starting from January 1st will also concentrate on the below mentioned focus areas of different subjects.

Important topics classified as Focus Areas in Each Subject

Refer the Important topics given for Each subject from the files below. These portions are given in Malayalam Medium. Students of English Medium sections can take corresponding topics in their textbook as equivalent.

Question Pattern for SSLC 2022 with Focus Areas

Education Department yet to finalise the question pattern for SSLC exam 2022. As per the details available now, all questions will have options. So for 40 mark examination, you will be provided with questions for 80 marks, from that 75% of questions will be taken from Focus Areas. ie, 60 mark questions will come from focus areas. Students will get the option to answer all the questions. If you get more than 40 marks, it will be considered as 40/40 ie, 100%.

Same pattern applicable to subjects with 80 marks also. Together with the options, a total of 160 mark questions will be asked, out of which 120 mark questions will be taken from the focus areas.

This means by concentrating on the focus areas, you can secure 100% marks in the upcoming SSLC examinations.
