XAT – Xavier Aptitude Test is a national –level examination conducted by XLRI (Xavier Labour Relation Institute) on behalf of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes). From past 60+ years, XLRI is conducting XAT across many cities in India to select the most capable students for Management education. XAT is the second largest MBA entrance exam for MBA/PGDM after CAT. XAT exam is held once in every year; usually in the month of January. The score obtained for the XAT examination is used by more than 150+ institutes for the admission in India. Any student who have completed their Graduation or is in the final year of their Graduation or awaiting results are eligible to apply for the XAT examination.

XAT Exam Pattern:
The mode of XAT examination is Online and is for a duration of 3 hours. The MCQ (Multiple choice questions) is the format followed in the XAT exam. The exam has mainly four sections – Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability (DI & QA), and General Knowledge. The number of questions in each section changes every year. Each question carries one mark. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Unattended questions beyond eight will result in negative marking of 0.05 marks per question.

- Current Affairs – National Issues, Politics, Film and Television
