Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) came into existence during the year 1966. It is one of the oldest boards in India and works under the Ministry Government of the Karnataka State. It conducts the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examination for class 10th of affiliated schools and 11 other examinations like Karnataka open school, Diploma in Education, Music etc. The Board has Bangalore as its headquarters. It regulates and supervises the system of Secondary education in Karnataka State and executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting recognitions to schools and, providing direction, support and leadership for all secondary educational institutions under its jurisdiction.

Karnataka SSLC exams are conducted at state-level in three languages and three core subjects including Science, Social Science and Mathematics.  Every year nearly 8.5 lac students appear for the SSLC examination which is usually conducted in March/April of every year. The Board re-conducts the same examination in the month of June for the benefit of the students who fail in main examinations. The duration of the examination is 3 hours.

KSEEB 10th Exam 2020 Revised Timetable

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board had released the revised timetable of the SSLC board examination, which was previously re-scheduled owing to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. The exams will commence on Thursday, June 25. You can find the detailed schedule of the examination below.

A student can also appear for S.S.L.C. Examination as a private candidate from Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board. The Examination will be conducted twice a year by the Board once in March and again in June. This is a one year course and the candidates can write the examinations either in Kannada or in English medium.

The Question Papers of all subjects of SSLC 2019 – Regular Fresh(RF), Regular Repeater(RP), Private Fresh(PF), Private Repeater(PR) are provided to get a better understanding about the examination.  Solving these Question Papers helps the students to understand the important topics, types of questions asked, time management, marking scheme etc. Practice of these Question papers would also improve your speed and efficiency.
