KSEEB – The Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board is a state education board in the Indian state of Karnataka which was founded during the year 1966. It is considered as one of the oldest boards in India and it works under the Ministry Government of the Karnataka State. It conducts the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examination for class 10th of affiliated schools. The Board has Bangalore as its headquarters and the main responsibilities include execution of various activities like designing the courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations and many more.

There were speculations stating the complete cancellation of the SSLC examination 2021 citing reasons of increased spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. As per a PTI report, Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar informed that the government has still not taken any decision on the cancellation of the Class 10 Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam 2021. He stated that “We have not taken any decision on cancelling the SSLC or the PUC-II exams, which were postponed earlier in view of the rising COVID cases.”

The 10th board examination is conducted in three languages and three core subjects including Science, Social Science and Mathematics. The duration of the examination is 3 hours. The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board had released the revised timetable of the SSLC board examination which is all set to begin from 25th June 2020 onwards. As per the schedule, the Karnataka Board 10th exam 2020 will begin on 25th June and end on 4th July 2020. Approximate 8,50,000 students are expected to appear for the examination. Masks and social distancing is mandatory due to the current situation. Karnataka is the second state in southern India after Kerala, conducting the pending SSLC exams in the year 2020. The Government has yet to finalize on the dates of the examination, which was earlier postponed on the coronavirus situation, the fresh dates for SSLC examinations will be announced only after ongoing COVID second wave subsidies

    The key answer is having one mistake, please do refrain yourself from making such mistakes in future. The answer for the fifth question in mCQ’s section is high altitude,if himalaya receive vertical sun rays the emperature would have increased,Please read the text carefully.

The answer for the fifth question in mCQ’s section is high altitude, not because himalaya is located in the area which receives vertical sun rays. The temperature increases if it receives vertical sun rays. Please carefully read the text.
