Kerala SSLC 2023 deleted and compulsory topics and chapters list for Social Sciences

SS1 & SS2 Compulsory adn optional chapters list

To reduce the workload on students, SCERT Kerala has given choices and options to select from some chapters and topics from the Social Science curriculum for Class 10 in an effort to rationalise the syllabus for the academic session 2022–2023. These adjustments will be taking effect in 2023 March SS examination.

SSLC SS Exam 2023 Important changes

  • SS Question paper will have Two Parts named part A & part B.
  • Both parts will carry 40 Marks each (40 +40= 80).
  • You must respond to every question in Part A.
  • You will have the option to select questions from part B and write your response.
  • Part B consists of questions from the units to be studied selectively in SS I and SS II.
  • You skip 3 Units from SS and SS II as per the list given below.
