The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education(DHSE) has revised the question paper pattern for the HSE Plus Two Board Examination 2021. The Covid Pandemic spead and the related lockdowns had affected the normal classroom sessions. DHSE has notified some topics as focus areas in all subjects. Instead of studying the entire syllabus, the students can concentrate on these topics. Questions will be included from these topics to score complete marks in the examination. Plus Two Exam 2021- Important Changes in Pattern
The following pattern changes are envisaged in the plus two exam 2021, to make things easier for students.
- There is a “Cool off time” of 20 Minutes in addition to the writing time. Previously the cool off time was 15 minutes. You can use the “Cool off time” to get familiar with questions and to plan your answers.
- In each paper, you will be provided with questions for double the score of the maximum marks. For example for 60 marks examination, questions will be provided for 120 marks. Likewise, for 160 marks questions will be provided for 80 mark examination.
- In each section, you can attempt any question of your choice. For example, In the Discourse level questions section in English subject, each question carries 4 score. Usually you need to answer 5 questions. But this year you will be provided with 10 questions to choose from.
- There is no change in the maximum marks or exam writing time.
- If total scores of attempted questions exceed more than 60/ 80 scores, the best attempted questions for a total of 60/ 80 scores will be considered for scoring.
