Field of Study: Astrophysics

Selection: Based on written test and an interview, which is held around the end of June at the Institute. The selected candidates will undertake course work during the first year. On successful completion of the course, they can register for the Ph.D. Degree. A few selected candidates will be given Scholorships.

Eligibility: First Class M.Sc. in Physics/Mathematics/Astronomy or M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics/Electrical/Engineering/lnstrumentation/ Automation/Computer Sciences.

Duration: Five years.

Value: 3000-5000/- per month. (Amounts are likely to be revised Upwards)
