DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP SCHEME

 

 

 

 

 

Field of Study: Criminology and Police Science

Eligibility: 1st/2nd Class Master's degree in (not less than 55% marks or equivalent grade) in criminology or sociology or social work or psychology or social anthropology or public administration or political science or law with It class Bachelor's degree in aforesaid subject. The candidate should be passed NET for Junior Research Fellowships. The candidate should be registered for Ph.D. programme with any recognised University in India or should get registered with three months of the award of fellowship.

Age: Perferably below the age of 30 years.

General Information:

Value: Value of each fellowship is Rs. 2500/--3000/-p .m.plus contingency allowance.

Duration:Three years. Departmental assistance of Rs.3000/- per year will be paid to the Institution in which the fellow is registered for the Ph.D.

Rules: Copies of the rules of Fellowship Scheme and prescribed application form can be obtained on request from Director (Research) If a candidate is already working in a University or a Government Institution, he/she should apply through the Head of the Institution in which he/she is working.
