The Plus Two exam pattern
Second Year Higher Secondary Examination, March 2024 consists of
(i) CONTINUOUS EVALUATION- The CE is based on the learning activities undertaken by the candidate during the course of study.
(ii) THE PRACTICAL EVALUATION- The Practical Exam shall be based on the scheme and syllabus prescribed for the Higher Secondary Course during 2016–2018 (Note: Candidates who absent themselves for the Practical Evaluation of a particular subject shall be treated as absent for that subject, even if they appear for Terminal Evaluation)
(iii) TERMINAL EVALUATION (TE) There will be only one scheme of Examination. ie, 200 scores per subject.
Eligibility for Higher Studies/ Minimum grade required for a pass
To become eligible for higher studies, a candidate should obtain D+ grade or above in all subjects. To attain D+ grade for a subject, a minimum of 30% of the aggregate score of CE, PE and TE should be obtained (ie., 60 scores should be obtained) with a separate minimum score of 30% of Terminal Evaluation. The minimum score required for Terminal Evaluation for subjects with Practical Evaluation is 36 and for subjects without Practical Evaluation is 48.
For securing D+ grade for Music, separate minimum of 30% score of T.E. as well as PE (24 scores each) should be obtained.

Kerala board is too easy … l can write the exam without even revising. I’m in Maharashtra board and it’s really hectic especially physics and chemistry we have 70 mks paper and even though the syllabus is almost same. It’s really very tough??
please don’t be over confident.Kerala exams seems to be easy on first reading.okay i agree..But as an above average student its very tough to answer questions if you go through it multiple times.as we go answering we get to know ,how much effort is put by questioners on each questions…every board exams has its own toughness. I am good at the syllabus.sometimes the exam seems to be killing the students.so please don’t say you will get high scores even without revising…….
