I completed MSc in Agricultural Entomology. Am I eligible to apply for Ph.D. in Sericulture at Agricultural Science University Bangalore?

Yes. A Master’s degree in the concerned field of Science or an equivalent qualification from recognized Agricultural/Deemed Universities/Institutes recognized by ICAR in terms of equivalent course duration, with CGPA of 2.50/4.00 or OGPA of 7.00/10.00 or its equivalent. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Cat-I of Karnataka State, a mere pass would be adequate. However for Ph.D. in Sericulture : M.Sc.(Agri.) in Agril. Entomology with specialization in Sericulture is also eligible. A candidate shall be eligible to apply for only one subject and compulsorily take Written Test for 90 marks in the concerned subject.
