Change Date of Birth in CBSE certificate/ Birth Certificate

Dear sir

My DOB in my birth certificate is 11.09.1993, but in my CBSE 10th certificate it is written as 11.09.1992. This mistake was happened when I forst joined in school. I requested to CBSE Regional office with a DD of 560 Rs, as directed by my school principal. They declined to change my DOB.

Many says this will create a problem in future because for passport and things like they need Birth Certificate and School Certificate.

Please tell me how can I change my DOB in school certificate or birth certificate.

In normal conditions CBSE will not allow you to change the DOB recorded while you took your school admission. For changing that you need to get a court order and approach your respective CBSE regional office
