I completed my BEd through distance education. Am I eligible to apply for SET exam?

It is said that candidates who have acquired their qualification through correspondence course/ open universities which are not recognized by any one of the universities in Kerala are not eligible to appear for the test. If it is recognized by any one of the universities in Kerala, should produce equivalency certificate. And hope then you will be eligible.
