The question papers and answer keys of the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) February 2026 (KTET December 2025 Notification) examination are now available for download. What is KTET?
The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET), conducted by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, is the qualifying examination for teacher appointments in Kerala schools.
KTET is conducted in four categories:
- Category 1 – Lower Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5)
- Category 2 – Upper Primary Teachers (Classes 6 to 8)
- Category 3 – High School Teachers (Classes 9 and 10)
- Category 4 – Language Teachers, Specialist Teachers and Physical Education Teachers
KTET Examination Pattern
Each KTET paper contains 150 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each. The duration of the examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Category 1 is meant for candidates seeking eligibility for Lower Primary teaching posts.
