Eligibility: Applicants must hold a medical qualification, registrable in Britain or Ireland or a university degree (not necessarily in medicine).

Value: Each award is of approximately £ 4,000 to support a medical or surgical research project by a contribution to emoluments or expenses or the purchase of apparatus, the ownership of which may rest with the Fund.
