Fields
of Study:
Radars, Electromagnetic Interference / Electromagnetic Compatibility,
Microwave, Computers, Signal Processing, Milimetric Wave Systems
& Devices, Guidance and Control
Eligibility:
At least second class Master's degree in Physics/Applied Physics
with specialisation in Electronics or second class Bachelor's degree
in Electronics and/or Communication Engineering from a recognised
University or equivalent.
Desirable:
Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese languages.
Selected candidates for the fellowship course have to undergo specialised
training as fellows at Institute of Armament Technology (IAT), Pune
and have to pass such tests as are prescribed by the Institute.
Age:
not exceeding 26 years as on June 1.
Relaxations:5
years relaxation for SC/ST candidates and Govt. servants and 3 years
for OBC candidates.

Information
Number of Fellowships: 45
Fellowships are offered (UR-23, SC-7, ST-3, OBC-12) for Electronic
Fellowship Course (EFC).
Period:
12 Months
Value:
During training the trainees are paid a consolidated stipend and
after successful completion of the training, they are considered
for regular employment in DRDO as Scientist 'B'.
Salary:
On
successful completion of the course/training, the fellows would
be placed in one of the Laboratories/Establishments of DRDO on a
higher scale with increments and other benefits like hostal facilities
and book allowences.
