JANE COFFIN CHILDS MEMORIAL FUND FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH

Field of study: Causes, origins and treatment of cancer.

Level : Research

Duration:Three years.

Eligibility: Qualified individuals from all countries; candidates must hold either the M.D. degree or the Ph.D. degree in the field in which they propose to study.

Value: $24,000 first year, $25,000 second year and $26,000 third year, plus an additional $750 for each dependant (child); travel for the fellow and his family to laboratory of choice; $1,500 a year as an allowance is usually made available to the laboratory sponsoring the Fellow towards cost of research.

Note: Postdoctoral Fellowships are tenable in the United States for citizens of other countries; in the United States or in other countries for American citizens.
