Research Associateship and Part Time Research Associateship for Women

Fields of study: Humanities, Social Science, Languages, Engineering and Technology

The Programme: The programme aims to those who have completed, their Ph.D. within the last two years and have shown talent and competence for independent research.

Eligibility: Ph.D. degree is an essential qualification for those being considered for Research Associateships.

Age: should be not more than 40 years as on 1st July of the year of award which may be relaxed up to 10 years for women candidates. Preference is given to those researchers/teachers who have independently published research work. The Research Associateships carry emoluments from 2500-3000/- (under revision).

Duration: Extendable one year

Part Time Research Associateship for Women

Associateships available to women candidates who are not full time teachers or researchers and who are below 50 years of age as on 1st July of the years of award. Such candidates have to devote at least 20 hours every week to work in the Department of the University.
