Fields of Study: Science and Technology

The Scheme:

1) Deputation abroad on Study/Fellowships: INSA has scientific collaboration and exchange of scientists programmes in the following countries: Countries for short term visits (2-4 weeks) China, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Netherland, Poland, Philippines, UK, USSR, Korea (South), Nepal, Vietnam and Yugoslavia. Countries for long term visits(3-6 Month)-Korea (South), Nepal, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Poland, UK, USSR.

Eligibility: For short term visits Active senior outstanding research scientists for holding discussions, acquiring knowledge of special techniques developed in visiting countries in the fields of specialisation.

Eligibility: For long term visits Young Post Doctoral Scientists for Learning New techniques and undertaking collaborative research programmes of mutual interest.

Value: 50% International travel by INSA and local hospitality including Internal travel by the Academy/Organisation of the visiting country.

2) Travel Assistance for attending International Conferences : Financial assistance is offered to scientists to participate in important scientific international conference abroad.

Qualification : Doctorate Degree.

Age: Below 35 years.

Notification: September/October.
