HEISER PROGRAM FOR RESEARCH IN LEPROSY AND TUBERCULOSIS

Field of study: Leprosy and Tuberculosis. Postdoctoral research fellowships

Eligibility: Candidates of all nationalities with M.D., Ph.D. or equivalent degree and in the beginning of postdoctoral research training.

Duration: I year (renewable for a second year)

Value: $22,000 to $28,000 per year plus travel to fellowship location, training allowance of $2,000 to host laboratory and a maximum of $1,500 per year will be paid towards health insurance. Research grants

Eligibility: Senior investigators experienced in research on leprosy and/or tuberculosis who are associated with a laboratory providing training opportunities in these fields.

Duration: 1 year

Value: $20,000 ( not more than 20 per cent of which may be used for institutional overhead.) Note: Research grants tenable in institutions in any country other than that in which the candidate's doctorate was obtained.
