IES ESE Exam- Solved Question Papers and Study Materials

UPSC Conducts the IES Examination for recruiting Engineers to the posts in Railway, Defense, Central Engineering Service, Telecommunication service, Supply service etc. The Indian Engineering Service examination is conducted in 4 disciplines viz:

  • Category I‐Civil Engineering.
  • Category II‐Mechanical Engineering.
  • Category III‐Electrical Engineering.
  • Category IV‐Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Engineering graduates in relevant disciplines can apply for the examination. The selection will be based on A Combined Competitive Examination (ESE 2016) and Interview / Personality Test.

Pattern of Examination 2018:

The Engineering Service Examination consists two sections: Part I Contains Objective Questions and Part II contains Subjective (descriptive) questions
