Eligibility for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment Examination 2013:
Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with essential knowledge in computers. Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. You have to be profiicent in the local language of the area you are applying for. The candidates applying for the examination should be between age group 20 years to 28 years.
IBPS CWE Clerk Exam 2013 Selection Procedure:
The exam takers are supposed to write an online written examination with a duration of hours. (Detailed Syllabus and Pattern are given below). The online written examination of IBPS Clerical CWE 2013 is tentatively scheduled on

8 December 2013
14 December 2013 and
5 December 2013
IBPS Interview
The successful Candidates who qualified the CWE Clerks examination will be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Banks
IBPS Clerical Cadre Allotment
As per the marks secured in the examination and the interview, candidates will be appointed according to the state/UT wise vacancies with due consideration to the reservation rules of the Central/ State Government.
IBPS Clerical CWE 2013 Question Pattern
IBPS Clerical CWE 2013 is a 2 hour (120 minutes) examination and will have 200 objective type Questions for you to solve. The examination will have the following 5 sections with 40 marks each for each section.

- Reasoning – 40 marks
- English Language – 40 marks
- Numerical Ability – 40 marks
- General Awareness and – 40 marks
- Computer Knowledge. – 40 marks
IBPS Clerical Grade Exam 2013 Syllabus
1. General Awareness : Questions are asked from geography, history, science, economics, sports, constitution, politics, history, banking, culture etc. Give due Consideration to Current Affairs especially the happenings in Banking arena
2. English Language – Reading comprehension, Fill in the blanks, Finding grammatical errors , Sentence completion, Para jumbles , Synonymous and Antonyms, word formation. In Comprehension questions are asked for deriving conclusion, theme detection, passage completion and the topic Rearrangement of passage
3. Numerical Ability & Quantitative Aptitude – Arithmetic & Data Interpretation, which includes bar graphs, pie-charts, line graphs & tabulation. Roots, Average, Ratio, Time & Work, Time and Distance, Percentage, Profit & loss etc. include the Arithmetic quotient. clocks, volume & surface area, height & distances, logarithms, permutation & combination, simple & compound interest and probability
4. Reasoning can be verbal and non verbal. Verbal includes classification, analogy, decision making, word formation, series, decoding & coding, blood relation, symbol & notation, statement & conclusion, sitting arrangement and problem solving. Non Verbal includes series completion, finding any missing figure and classification.
5. Computer Knowledge, Computer Awareness – Basic questions in MS Office suite, Windows, internet, operating systems, computer networks, internet, E-commerce, the basic computer architecture, terminology, EFT systems, acronyms. Take a look at current affairs on Computer area.
