Applications are invited for Admission to B. Pharmacy (Hons.) Programme at Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani and Hyderabad Campuses from bright students of 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects for academic year 2015-16.

Eligibility

12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in IT’ class. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 759* aggregate marks in Phystcs, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematks subjects in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English, Admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2015.

The prescribed fees for BITSAT-2015 is Rs.2090/- {1590/- for female candidates). Options for payment of fees are given at the website. The syllabus and other details of the BITSAT-2015 are available in the BTTSAT-2015 Brochure which is also available at the website.

Deadline to register for BITSAT-201 S by filling the online form along with the prescribed fee is on 20th February 2015.

For admission to B.Pharm, the eligibility criteria is Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. BITS Integrated First Degree Programmes admissions 2013

Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani/ Goa/ Hyderabad Integrated First Degree Programmes for 2013 admissions

Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani, invites applications for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes for 2013-2014 session.

Eligibility

Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.

Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2013 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2012 only are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2013 test. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2011 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2013. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2013.

Admissions will be made purely on merit. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT-2013.

BITS Pilani ME Computer Science Admissions for B.Sc. Graduates

Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS Pilani) invites applications for 4-year Integrated Higher Degree Programme for B.Sc. Graduates.

Applications are invited for admission to its 4- year Integrated Higher Degree Programme:

Admissions will be made on all-India basis strictly on merit and suitability of the candidate.

 

Eligibility: A 3 year B.Sc. degree or its equivalent (with Mathematics and Physics as subjects and at least one of these two as main subject(s)). A minimum of 60% aggregate in qualifying examination is required.

 

Note:(i) Admissions to the M.E. program is based on performance in computer-based online test conducted by BITS. Assistantship, Fee waiver and Industry internship

Students admitted to the Higher Degree programme will also be considered for Teaching assistantships to the tune of upto Rs 8000 p.m. in addition to partial tuition fee waiver scheme starting from the third year of the programme. Such selected candidates will be required to participate in teaching and other developmental programs of the institute under guidance of instructor. Students will have the opportunity to spend upto two semesters on industry internship or thesis in their fourth year.
