  1. palaniappan,optometrist says:

    To
    The superindentant of G O H

    Respected sir

Iam one of the oldest optometrist completed from G O H during the yr 1976 batch.I did my service at SankaraNethralaya more than 15 years.Almost familiar surgeons knew me very well

Now iam honorary optometrist at Military hospital ,Chennai

The purpose of writing this letter is to bring to your notice the following points to be reviewed by you with my humble request.

1.Before starting elite school of optometry course i was asked by Dr Badrinath to get prospectus from our hospital. After seen it he realized that our optometry students are not at all getting focused in Anatomy, physiology of vision and eye according to the prospectus.

But he developed such a way to teach elite school students all subjects thoroughly. Why this kind of anomaly to our government school students so far not yet answered.

At least in your period this will change into modernization of optometry so that people will be benefited for the early detection and eradication of amblyopia, keratoconus, diabetic retinopathy etc.

In the globalization of modern technology of medical field particularly in ophthalmic our para medical will do wonderful assistance to all our leading ophthalmologists.

Hope that you will take some action and do the needful

    Thanking you

    yours sincerely

    s palaniappan
