WBJEE JEM Question Paper and Model Exam for Medical / Engg. Entrance

WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEM) is the annualy held competitive examination for admission into undergraduate courses in Engineering/Technology/Medical/Dental and Pharmacy in Universities/ Colleges in West Bengal and B.Arch. Course in Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur and Jadavpur University.

The applicant must be a citizen of India and should have passed the H.S.(10+2) or its equivalent examination. The general candidates must have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates) and at least 30% marks in English (for all categories). In addition, candidates must secure at least pass marks in the subjects individually including vernacular (or any other fifth subject) as mentioned below:

B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch :Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and vernacular or any other fifth subject.
M.B.B.S/B.D.S. : Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and vernacular or any other fifth subject.
PHARMACY: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English and vernacular or any other fifth subject.

Orissa JEE Model Question paper and Mock Exam

Orissa JEE-2011 will be conducted to draw the merit list of successful candidates for admission into :

(i) Degree course in Engineering / Technology in different branches of engineering colleges/institutes in the State of Orissa affiliated to BPUT, VSSUT and in DTE & T

quota seats outside state institutes

(ii) MBBS/BDS courses

(iii) B.Pharm. course

(iv) MCA course in the colleges / institutes

(v) 3rd semester of Engineering / Technology and Pharmacy stream for diploma holders under lateral entry scheme.

3rd semester of Engineering / technology stream for B.Sc. / +3 Sc. with mathematics in +2 standard. Maximum 20% of intake capacity of last year in appropriate discipline (these seats will be over and above the intake capacity) and carry forward vacant

seats of first year of engineering/pharmacy as per list submitted by JEE-2010 will be available for lateral entry at third semester level as an indicator.

(vi) MBA course in the colleges/ institutes as per list given in Table – VI for the year 2010 as an indicator.

(vii) Architecture courses in the colleges

AFMC Entrance Model Exams and Practice Papers

Programme Detail

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune  is a premier medical institute of the country and it conducts MBBS programme. A total of about 130 students selected each year to the programme. The candidates have have compulsory liability to serve as commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services on graduation.

Candidates who have passed the XII standard/pre-professional/ premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other recognized Board/University as a regular student in all the subjects opted for in FIRST ATTEMPT with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English.  Can apply for AFMC MBBS Programme. They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard.
