Banaras Hindu University PMT 2012 (Screening/ Main) for MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BPharm. admissions 2012

Banaras Hindu University invites applications for  All India Competitive Written Test 2012 (PMT 2012) for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS and B. Pharm. courses 2012.

Eligibility

Passed Intermediate /10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together

For MBBS/BDS/BAMS – a minimum of 50%

For B.Pharm. – a minimum of 60% marks.

Age should be between 17- 25 years as on 31st December, 2012

Selection for MBBS will be done in 2 stages: PMT-2012 Screening and PMT-2012 Main, and for BDS, BAMS and B. Pharm. courses in ONE stage: PMT-2012 Screening.

PMT-2012 Screening will be held on 16-05-2012 at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata, and Hyderabad Centres to screen candidates for eligibility to appear in PMT-2012 Main examination for MBBS course will be held on 17-06-2012 at Varanasi Centre only.

Application Form can be obtained from selected branches of Bank of Baroda by paying cash of Rs. 1500/-.

It can also be obtained from the Office of the Director (PMT-Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221 005 by sending a written request through Registered Post along with Crossed Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque (MICR only) of Rs. 1600/-  of a Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of “The Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU” payable at Varanasi.

Application form must include the name and address of the candidate, and full particulars of the enclosed DD/BC (write candidate’s name and address on the back of DD). Two self-addressed, preferably typed, white paper slips of 10 cm 6 cm size must also accompany it. The requisition for PMT Application Form should be superscribed “Request for Application Form for PMT-2012, BHU”.

Completed application form must be sent through Registered Post to The Director (PMT Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221 005.
