AIMA/ AMU Phd in Business Administration admissions 2012

AIMA in collaboration with Aligarh Muslim University invites applications for admission to PhD programme in Business Administration for 2012 session.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Management or allied subjects from Commerce, Humanities, Science, Engineering and Law etc. or a PGDM/PGDITM approved by AICTE with not less than 55% marks or equivalent grade OR Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy or any other professional qualification which are considered equivalent to Master Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade along with minimum 50% marks in Graduation.

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years post qualification work experience in industry at the managerial level or a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Faculty at a Management Institute approved by AICTE or affiliated to a University.

Research Management Aptitude Test (R-MAT) will be held on May 12, 2012 at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai followed by an Interview at AIMA, New Delhi for R-MAT shortlisted candidates.

Application process

Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1500/- in favour of “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi from any bank.

  1. Prospective students for Aima PhD shud seek following information
    1. As per UGC guidelines why Aima does not reveal the number of seats in PhD
    2. Why after entrance and interview students do not get any registration at the university i.e AMU.
    3. How many students are enrolled by Aima and eventually after 2 years, 11 exams and 1.5 lacs, how many are actually registered at AMU for research
    4. Aima gives 6 days of contact sessions – is this really a non distant mode regulation og UGC
