Govt. Of Orissa ST & SC Develop Department invites applications from students studying at Post-Matriculation or Post-Secondary stage for Prerana Post-Matric Scholarship. That the last date for submission of Post-Matric Scholarship application forms through ONLINE system by the eligible students pursuing their studies inside the State to avail Post-Matric Scholarship is dt.5.12.2011 and in case of the students pursuing their studies outside the State is on dt.15.12.2011. Submission of application through ONLINE beyond the date will not be entertained by the system.
The DWO of the concerned district is declared as sanctioning authority in respect of ST/SC applicants. In case of the ST/SC students pursuing their studies outside the State the PMS claims will also be sanctioned by the DWO of respective Home District of the concerned students. But there will be capping of sanction of PMS of OBC/SEBC students for each district on the basis of BPL population and allotment of funds by the Govt of India.
This scholarship is provided to SC/ST students whose parent’s income from all sources do not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh and that of SEBC/OBC will not exceed Rs.1.00 lakh per annum respectively.
The rate of scholarship provided to ST/SC students is completely as per the rates prescribed by the concerned Ministry of Govt. of India.
