Is medical bio-tech and medical engineering the same?

Biotechnology and medical engineering are in supporting roles for Medical professionals. Tests done during a medical check-up are a part of biotechnology. There will be 40 per cent biology and 60 per cent electronics in biomedical engineering. Biotechnology is a multi-disciplinary field with plant, environment, bio-electronics and bio mechanical segments. Bio-tech is the broad platform for all of them.
