Nurses can also opt to work privately, with individual patients. Opportunities to work abroad are also plentiful due to a high demand for nurses in developed countries.
With the growth of super speciality hospitals that focus on certain diseases or types of patients, nurses with specializations in areas such as paediatrics, geriatrics, cardiology, ophthalmology,oncology, or orthopaedics are in much demand.
