New textbook based model question paper is released by SCERT for class 10 first term Onam examination 2025. These question papers are designed based on the new changed syllabus from academic year 2025-26.

Overview of the STD 10 BIOLOGY Question Paper by SCERT

• Total Marks: 40
  
• Time: 1½ hours (plus 15 minutes cool-off time)
  
• Structure: Divided into three sections based on mark distribution (1-mark, 2-mark, 3-mark, and 4-mark questions)
  
• Question Types:
  • Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
    
  • Assertion-Reason type
    
  • Diagram-based questions
    
  • Short answer and brief explanation questions
    
  • One drawing/labeling question
    
  • One higher-order question (4 marks)
