career as a cartoonist

Hello everyone. I have posted in various forums on different sites countless times and have received no replies. So any amount of help will be helpful. I want to become a cartoonist and I don't know about the type of degree/course required to become one. I also want to know the job prospects in this field. So if you know about colleges in India that offer such courses, it will be humbly appreciated. Also if u have some prior experience in this field, your suggestion will be useful.

To become a cartoonist at first you have to get a art degree from any art college, so try to get admission in any art college .
