Can National Fund Scholarship be applied for any studies?

Is National Fund Scholarship given for any higher studies for the disabled, by the Indian Government? Is there any specific criteria?

Students who have passed class X can avail themselves of financial assistance for pursuing post-Matric/ Post-Secondary technical and professional courses including Ph.D and M.Phil from recognised institutions under National Fund Scholarship.
