Why is motion study used for?

The Motion Study has the following advantages:
(i) It reduces the unnecessary motion on the job and this avoids fatigue.
(ii) It helps in reducing labour costs and increasing workers efficiency without causing fatigue.
(iii) It helps in systematic planning of the operations. It arranges the operations in order.
