If I go to Germany for doing MS, how should I apply for residence visa?

For students seeking a Residence Permit the personal appearance at the German Embassy is mandatory. In order to schedule an appointment students are advised to contact one of the German Visa Application Centres (VFS). The contact details are given below. A personal appearance at VFS is not required:

Access to the Visa section of the German Embassy is granted only at the time of the scheduled appointment. So students are advised to visit German Embassy only after obtaining appointment for personal appearance from VFS.
