Applicability of NEET entrance in Kerala

I just want to know whether Kerala Government is using NEET to shortlist candidates for MBBS admissions ? If so why are they announced for another medical entrance ?

Yes, Kerala Government is using NEET to select candidates for MBBS/ BDS programs in the state. The announced Medical Entrance exam is used to select candidates for the allied courses like BAMS, B.Sc Nursing, BVSC&AH etc.
