The UPSC IES ESE Engineering Service exam of
Civil Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering and
Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering
written examination will comprise two sections"
Section I consisting only of objective type of questions and
Section II of conventional papers.
Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering disciplines
Section I Objective Papers will contain
Part B : General Studies
Civil Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering and
Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering

Part B : General Studies

- Relevant Engineering stream Subjective Paper I - 3 hrs- 200 marks
- Relevant Engineering stream Subjective Paper II - 3 hrs- 200 marks
