What are the eligibility criteria needed to apply for IOC Sports Scholarships? my age group is 17 and wish to apply for Indian Oil Sports Scholarship.

The IOC Sports scholarship will be given in two categories i.e., Elite Scholar and Scholar to budding youngsters in sports arena for the following games:

1. Cricket Team game
2. Hockey Team game
3. Basketball Team game
4. Volleyball Team game
5. Football Team game
6. Kabaddi Team game
7. Tennis Individual game
8. Billiards & Snooker Individual game
9. Golf Individual game
10. Carrom Individual game
11. Badminton Individual game
12. Chess Individual game
13. Archery Individual game
14. Boxing Individual game
15. Gymnastics Individual game
16. Shooting Individual game
17. Swimming Individual game
18. Wrestling Individual game
19. Table Tennis Individual game
20. Athletics Individual game

Eligibility

(a) Age: 14-19 YearsThe applicant should be above the age of 14 yrs. & below the age of 19 yrs as on 15th June, 2015.

(b) Performance:
Team Game (Sr. No. 1 to 6 above)
Elite Scholar : Representing country at junior or senior level
Scholar : Representing state team at junior or senior level

Individual Game (Sr. No.7 to 20 above)
Elite Scholar : National ranking between 1-5 in juniors or sub juniors or semi finalist/finalist in national championship
Scholar : National ranking between 6-15 in juniors or sub juniors or semi finalist/finalist in national championship
