While filling my UGC NET application form ,there is a column asking whether I am opting for JRF. should I select he option ? what are the benefits of applying for JRF ? Is it have any adverse effect If I am no selected for it ?

If you are thinking of research than teaching, you should opt for JRF. JRF is available for only those who selects this option in their NET application form. Those who selected for JRF will get their tuition fee reimbursed and can do research in many elite institutions in India. They will get scholarships 16000 pm for the first 2 years and 18000 for the remaining 3 years.
