Selection procedure for PhD at IIST Trivandrum

I reside at Tirupur and wish to apply for PhD at IIST Trivandrum. How is the selection procedure? Do I get TA for interview?

Selection will be based on a written test followed by an interview to be conducted in Thiruvananthapuram. Outstation candidates will be paid to and fro sleeper class train fare by shortest route or actual fare (whichever is lower) for attending the test/interview.
