The First Year Higher Secondary Improvement/Supplementary Examination 2026 will be conducted from 12 October to 17 October 2026 at examination centres in Kerala, Lakshadweep and UAE. 

Eligibility & Registration

• Regular candidates can register for up to three subjects for improvement.
  
• Candidates who were absent for subjects in March 2026 can register for those subjects and may additionally improve up to three subjects they had attended.
  
• Lateral-entry candidates must appear for all six First Year subjects.
  
• Special provisions apply to re-admitted, compartmental and special-category candidates. 
  

Fees & Important Dates

• Regular/Lateral Entry/Re-admission: ₹175 per paper + ₹40 certificate fee.
  
• Compartmental: ₹225 per paper + ₹80 for two certificates. 
  
• Application submission: 10 September 2026
  
• Fee remittance: 11 September 2026
  
• Application with ₹600 fine: 15 September 2026
  
• Fee with fine: 16 September 2026
  
• Online registration/uploading: 16 September 2026 
  

In short: The First Year Higher Secondary Improvement/Supplementary Exam 2026 is scheduled for 12–17 October 2026, with applications due by 10 September 2026 and the final online registration deadline on 16 September 2026.
