UP Goverment Goes ahead with the MBC Policy

Nov:5- Despite the court order, The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Rajnath Singh decided to move ahead with the proposed plan to recruit 20,000 primary teachers in different districts of the state under the Most Backward Castes reservation policy.

In a Press Conference the Chief Minister said " Such a  recruitment will rewrite the history in the number of appointments at a time"

He claimed about 50,000 MBC people will benefit from such a process and the Government will continue to enforce the policies by following the court orders, since it is committed to the upliftment of the backward class people.

The issue began three months ago, when Mr. Singh announced a quota within the quota to tha most backward Dalits. The opposition parities flayed the decision saying he is trying to divide the backward people, and by the last week the Supreme Court had served notice to the Government seeking the explanation, later the Lucknow High Court stayed the process for mass recruitment through Group-C examination.
