Applications are invited to nominate for Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowships in 2011 from permanent faculty members working in colleges including Medical Institutions for six months.

Eligibility

Candidate should be citizen of India

Hold a doctorate degree.

In the fields of medicine and dentistry, have qualified as a doctor or dentist before 1^st October 2001.

Applications are invited for the award of Commonwealth Split-Site Doctoral Scholarships for 2011 offered by Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom. It support attendance for one year at a UK university, under the joint supervision of a home country and UK supervisor.Applicants should be registered for a doctoral degree at their home university. The final qualification obtained will be from the home university, rather than the UK institution.The duration of study is twelve months or can be divided into two six months periods.

Eligibility

Candidate should be citizen of India.

Hold, by 1^st October 2011, a first degree of upper second class Honours standard (or above); or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification, which will normally be a Master’s degree and in the fields of medicine and dentistry, have qualified as a doctor or dentist between 1 October 2001 and 30 September 2006.
