Kerla Govt. to file review petition on college admissions.

The Government of Kerala had decided to file a review petition before The High Court, on its verdict on admissions to unaided professional colleges. Mr. A.K Antony, the Chief minister told that the reservation of 50% admissions in Merit basis is a must, considering the special situations prevailing in the state. Earlier, the High Court has allowed the managements to place 75% seats under the management quota.

While the Education Minister, Mr. N. Soopy said the Government would not hesitate to Cancel the No Objection Certificate, If the private self financing colleges is hesitating to comply to the norms. He said the Kerala Government will be compelled to follow the steps of Tamilnadu Government to cancel the NOC's issued to the colleges.
