			<description><![CDATA[Keeping in view the real need for professionally trained personnel with requisite experience by the fast growing hospitality industry, Manipal established its college for Hotel Management Studies in October 1986 as a unit of Dr. TMA Pai Foundation.  In August 1987, the foundation joined hands with Welcomgroup, the hotel division of ITC Ltd, and a progressive hotel chain having linkage to Starwood Company of USA. WGSHA’s training and development activities are recognised by the International Hotel Association, Paris.  In July 2003, it became a constituent college of Manipal University.<br />

TEST PATTERN: The test will be of 2.30 hours duration and carries 100 marks. In August 1987, the foundation joined hands with Welcomgroup, the hotel division of ITC Ltd, and a progressive hotel chain having linkage to Starwood Company of USA. WGSHA’s training and development activities are recognised by the International Hotel Association, Paris.  In July 2003, it became a constituent college of Manipal University.<br />
