PEOPLE ARE NOT AWARE FOE MODEL ENGG COLLEGE(MEC)
IT IS HAVING A BEST PLACEMENT RECORD
THERE ARE MANY ELECTRONICS CORE COMPANIES LIKE NVIDIA WHICH VISITS MEC ALONE IN KERALA
PLACEMENTS STATISTICS ARE IN THE SAME LEVEL OF CET AND NITC

The latest 2011 ranking shows that
CET trivandrum tops in kerala !!

after that , top colleges and with good placements are,

TKM college kollam
SCT college thiruvananthapuram
Barton Hill,
MEC kochi
RIT

etc...

In the outlook survey CET and SCT was the top colleges in kerala! and also in top 100 colleges of kerala.
