Kerala Govt. amended the minimum qualification for TET III and TET II. As per the new amendment the qualification for TET III and TET II will be the same.
New basic qualifications for writing TET III
45% marks for graduation with B.Ed
50% marks for Higher secondary with 4 Year graduation in Elementary Education or 50% mark in Higher Secondary with 4 year B.Sc.Ed/ BA.Ed.
New basic qualifications for writing TET II
Graduation with 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / TTC
45% marks for graduation with B.Ed
50% marks for Higher secondary with 4 Year graduation in Elementary Education
50% mark in Higher Secondary with 4 year Graduation/ B.Sc.Ed/ BA.Ed.
Minimum marks for Graduation for SC/ ST categories will be 40% and for OBC/OEC segments 42%
