Both short-term and long-term certificate and diploma courses in travel and tourism management are available. Apart from this, university recognized degree courses at the graduate and postgraduate levels are also being provided by various institutes across the country. Various universities offer graduate students a Masters in Tourism Administration (MTA) course, which imparts knowledge on all aspects of tourism and travel management.
The graduation level courses in travel administration are three-year, full-time courses, while the MTA course is a two-year, full-time course.
To be eligible for the graduate level courses, students have to clear the Class-12 examination with any subject combination. The eligibility for the postgraduate level courses is graduation any stream; hence, the course is open to students from all fields.
