Cochin Nov: 8th : Cochin University of Science and Technology has entered into an agreement on scientific cooperation with the University of Bergen, Norway and with Brethren Colleges Abroad Consortium (BCA). Together with the former one, it also signed agreement with Nansen Environment and Remote Sensing Centre Norway and Nansen Environmental Research Centre India.

The UoB Memorandum focuses on cooperative efforts in research and education with special emphasis on environmental, ecological and climate research issues of regional concern. The agreement promotes the exchange of visiting faculties and scientists among the participating institutions and to develop cooperation in the fields of distance educational courses and research programs in marine sciences.

The Mou signed with BCA students and faculty exchange will be carried out in many areas including Ecology, Marine Geology, Chemistry, maths, Bio-Statistics.. It also assigned the International Relations and Academic Admissions (IRAA) of CUSAT to monitor the Science study programme and Co-ordinating the exchanging of students and teachers.
